Boxer Zsolt Daranyi wants to fight.
Problem is the well of willing opponents appears to have dried up.
Since Feb r uar y, when Daranyi won gold at the Canadian Winter Games in Halifax, the 16-year-old has fought once, which isn’t nearly enough to keep a young up-and-comer sharp.
” We tried getting me a fight even in Brantford,” he said. ” I was supposed to fight but no one wants to box with me.
So, Daranyi and his team from Clancy’s Boxing Academy in Mississauga have come up with a new strategy.
